second ward boundaries change in 9 months

The last time this happened was within a week or two of when we found out we would be moving to Utah. A ward was dissolved and we were put into a brand new ward with parts of 4 different wards... it was crazy and a really hard way to get into the last 6 months or so that we would be living in Ohio. But we embraced the change, made new friends and accepted new callings and felt connected enough to our ward to be sad about moving away this past spring.

Today we got put into a ward, thankfully a pre-existing ward, but also the one with the largest boundaries so we will probably get split again as the areas around us grow. Yes, it is hard to think that over half the friends we made in the last 6 weeks we will probably not see again, but then again that's life, especially as they continue to build all around us.

change change change change change.

When I feel like we can finally settle in, we get more change. I guess that's what keeps life exciting right?

Speaking of changes, my baby brother got set apart as a missionary today and flies out here tomorrow to spend a bit of time with us before we drop him off at the Missionary Training Center on Wednesday (little d's birthday). Still can't believe that time has come!

wish we could have been there today but we will have him tomorrow!
