Feeling 22... At 28 years old

I have been so blessed. One husband, Two babies and over a half dozen moves later and I feel stronger, happier and probably slightly less brain celled than I did 10 years ago, when I was turning 18 and on the cusp of adulthood. To be honest, 28, old as it is, feels way more awesome than 22. Older and wiser. Started my day in my home state... Pennsylvania!
One of the best parts of today was not having to make a single meal.
Soooooo many hours of driving. For the most part, the kids were great. For being stuck in a car with me.
All I've wanted the last month is a solid nap. And after today, to never be in another gas station, eat fast food, or be in the car longer than 30 minutes ever again.
Lunch at panera with my motley crew
Post lunch hangover. Best last 90 minutes of the drive ever.
2 weeks apart from the kevs! I missed him.
Spicy drink, parm crusted tilapia and my favorite salad.
Add in some cute jewelery from Dk and dresses from Anna and brownies a la mode and you have yourself a good birthday.

Weekend of gratitude

Thanksgiving, last 24 hours in our home of the last year, moving 12 hours away and my 28th birthday all piled into three days. I have a LOT to be grateful for, but trumping the top of the list are these three right here. Healthy happy and light up my life.

My other family at World Gym Milford

I remember going with my mom to the world gym down the street just to try it out before she got pregnant with DK. Then in 7th grade we took a field trip there and learned how to use all the machines for phys ed class.

When I found world gym in milford I had all sorts of warm fuzzy feelings going into it and then made some amazing friends and it truly breaks my heart to leave. I average 6 hours a week there so it has truly been a second home for my babes and me.

Favorite workout buddy and little d's bffs
Tuesday boot camp. What didn't kill me made me stronger. I credit my arms and most of my post baby weight loss to the guy in the back, Matt. He curses like a sailor but he's a saint for dealing with all the complaining from some if these ladies ;)
A's BFF Avery.

Seriously the cutest girls at the gym.
Not only does Matt teach a killer boot camp but he's little d's favorite grown up there. One class little d was having a rough day at childcare so Matt totally set him up with a bosu ball and let him join for the rest of class.
Michelle! You remember the day my water broke but I wasn't sure so I went to class and then it REALLY broke in the middle of class? Her weight training class. She's my favorite AND she taught me to love spinning too (not an easy feat!).
Almost twins. They fight and love like nobody's business.

Tomorrow and Friday are my last two days. $20 says I won't make it through both workouts without a fair amount of tears. My next gym has quite a high standard as far as awesome people go...

I wouldn't wish nursing related vitamin deficiency on my worst enemy. Going on 6 months of it now.

Deep breath... This is really happening. Two full days in MA left.

This morning, after both kids slept through the night (!!)
Last target run for storage bins
Last bath
Last supper
And dessert of course
The upstairs is all packed up!
And this is all we have downstairs.
The last few weeks have been exhaustion, even with help from friends and family. Hopefully tomorrow night will be my last "up until I finish "x" or until midnight, whichever comes first" night.
So Ready to be done with this.

Autumn Ohio trip (JT birthday concert!)

Months ago my mom and littlest sister gifted Anna and I justin TIMBERLAKE concert tickets for early birthday presents... We (plus my dad) saw *nsync At the same arena like 15 years ago, so it was a pretty awesome surprise to get to go again! Drew arranged for vacation days and we planned to take a whole week off to drive there and be with family. Then came the promotion and our priorities shifted to everything that comes with home buying, which took all but two days of our beloved vacation time. Well worth it.
Last minute decision to take the kevs to my parents house: totally worth it.
It was like he remembered being there two years ago or something ;)

Grocery shopping with the boys...don't know what's so fascinating outside?
Mandatory bob Evans run... And the girl who drinks only milk is sudden to interested in daddy's cheddar potato soup?!
A glimpse into our (hopefully) soon to be home... Which won't look quite so nice and furnished for a few months or more after we move in.
Found my favorite cheese everrrr.
Movies (Thor) with these guys (and hopefully next weekend we will be doing hunger games!!!)
Kevs in his element... Spying on astrids squirrels.
Grandpa saves the best leaf piles for little d
Phone broke, had to upgrade: little d picked out my "ninja turtle power!" Green case. That's what I get for wearing this shirt...
Visited great grandma Joanne and spot actually graced my littles with his presence. In the 16-ish years of his life he has maybe done this twice for me.
Little d's wall of fame:
Annas!!!!
Let me just say, if you only evergo to see one concert in your life, let it be justin. Best. Performer. Of. Our. Time.
Even if he started his show an hour late.
Worth it!!
Amazing.

Came home wayyyy past my bedtime, crashed and woke up to 12 hours straight on the road.... :/ drews a trooper for doing the whole drive.
12 hours with two kids is soooooo long. We did it in two days on the way out so the way back was super intimidating. at least they napped!

And kevs missed us. Or is reveling in the silence.
I can hardly believe we are four days away from our big move...
