"mom can you put me on some lipstick please?" she asks ever so sweetly.
Sure. why not?
(she disappears into the bathroom and reappears 10 minutes later)"You didn't put on enough!"
Not to mention the total and complete anarchy that comes as a side dish with each and
EVERY SINGLE MEAL. Should have kept them in a high chair a little longer they say.
Would you tell that to a mom who has toddlers who are able to climb out of a crib?
(mine are not crib climbing. yet. but they were able to, even strapped into the high chair, figure out a way to stand in their chair or otherwise contort themselves in such a way that they were hurting themselves.)
although this doesn't seem much better. I have a lot of words for this phase we are in right now, and depending on the day, some of those words are quite nice but a huge chunk of the day when they are dumping out cereal, taking pots and pans out of my drawers, littering the floors with toys and dishes and half eaten apple slices... there are no words. At least not ones I should be saying on a public blog. This is hard.
